The Honda e:N1, Honda’s first 100% electric vehicle in Thailand, is making history as Honda becomes the first major Japanese car brand to build an EV car in the country. The Honda e:N1 was developed under a Human-centered Development concept with a focus on providing a fun and unique driving experience characteristic of Honda vehicles. To ensure a smooth journey, it features a newly developed e:N Architecture F high-performance front-motor-driven platform used for Honda’s electric cars. The electric power is delivered efficiently through a 3-in-1 electric motor (Motor, Power Drive Unit, and Gearbox) that produces 150 kilowatts, or 204 horsepower (PS). It offers instant response and thrilling acceleration thanks to its 310 N•m of torque that integrates with a 68.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, giving it the ability to cruise confidently with a maximum range of 500 kilometers (NEDC standard) on a single charge.

The Honda e:N1 stands out with a beautiful yet unique design, expressing its electric car identity with a new H Mark logo in a premium minimalist style. The logo is complemented by the word “Honda” in a new font on the rear of the car. Combined with a premium interior design, the spacious and comfortable cabin features blue ambient lighting. To support the diverse needs of an SUV, it is able to increase rear cargo space with the 60:40 Multi-utility Rear Seat. The Honda e:N1 is ready to seamlessly integrate into diverse lifestyles with advanced yet user-friendly features and technologies such as 15.1-inch Advanced Touch Display Audio with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 4 USB Ports, 10.25-inch TFT Multi-Information Display, and Honda SENSING Safety Technology. Exterior Design

Designed with a premium, modern aesthetic, the Honda e:N1 embodies a unique identity that aligns with the SUV concept. It features full electric power and distinguishes itself with an elegant front grille that seamlessly connects to the headlights and houses a battery charging point. A long line of LEDs displays the charging status in a unique manner. The use of horizontal lines extending from the headlights to the taillights adds to its sporty, sleek, and modern feel.

• The charging port is located at the front with the charging status indicator above the front grille, enabling quick and easy monitoring of the charging status.

Interior design

The cabin is crafted to prioritize superior comfort and convenience, employing high-quality materials. Drawing inspiration from nature, the design aims to create a relaxed atmosphere with soft lighting and spacious, comfortable seating. Adding to the ambiance, Blue Ambient Light enhances the interior experience. The center console has been redesigned to feature a large 15.1–inch Touchscreen and a 10.25-inch TFT Multi-Information Display, along with a simple shift knob arrangement and an electric parking brake switch. Various driving functions are intuitively located for easy access, allowing drivers to stay focused on the road. Every seat ensures comfort on every journey, thanks to the Dual Zone automatic air conditioning system, which offers independent Left/Right Dual Zone Climate Controls, along with an Air Diffusion System that efficiently directs air flow to ensure proper distribution throughout the entire cabin, complemented by rear ventilation.

The interior of the cabin boasts black sports-design leather seats adorned with white trim and blue stitching, enhancing the interior’s sporty appeal. The new seating arrangement offers increased body support, while soft padding in the areas most frequently touched ensures comfort during extended use. The 60:40 Multi-utility Rear Seat can be adjusted to maximize usable space. To accommodate a large rear cargo space, the rear seats can be adjusted in two ways:

• Utility Mode: The two rear seats can be folded to increase cargo space.
• Long Mode: Folding front and rear seats for a lengthy space.

• 1-inch Advanced Touch Display Audio with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that supports Siri and Android Auto voice control and is easy to use. It has a menu organized into three zones on the screen to make it convenient and quick to use without being distracted while driving. The display consists of:
• The upper “Connect” zone is home to the navigation, clock, and rear-camera displays.
• The middle “Driver Assist” zone presents the vehicle’s status and settings for audio and communications, as well as the EV-focused menu.

The Honda e:N1 is based on Honda’s newly developed e:N Architecture F high-performance front-motor-driven platform to deliver a fun and confident driving experience that reflects Honda’s driving performance ethos. The unrivaled performance of the electric drive system is delivered efficiently through a 3-in-1 electric motor (Motor, Power Drive Unit, and Gearbox) that produces 150 kilowatts or 204 horsepower (PS). Delivering up to 310 N.m of torque and integrated with a 68.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, it cruises confidently with a maximum range of 500 kilometers (NEDC standard) on a single charge. The electric switch transmission system enables the driver to change gears by simply pressing a button on the gear panel in the center console area.

The charging port is located behind a panel in the front grille, beneath the H Mark logo. To activate the charging port, simply press the black button on the front. It supports DC CCS 2 and AC Type 2 chargers, providing flexibility for charging needs. The charging port features various colored lights that indicate the charging status, enhancing the user experience. While charging, a horizontal light bar softly blinks from left to right, adding a lively touch. Once charging is complete, the light bar remains lit to indicate the battery is fully charged. In case of a charging error, a blinking red light provides an alert. After charging is complete and the power cord is unplugged, the car emits a flashing light signal to indicate the charging cable has been safely disconnected.

The Honda e:N1 is equipped with a Drive Mode Switch that the driver can use to select a preferred driving style. The three driving modes are:

• Sport Mode – The car accelerates more quickly for more fun and enjoyment when driving.
• Normal Mode – Provides the optimal balance of performance and full passenger comfort.
• Econ Mode – Optimizes the operation of the motor to align with driving style to maximize energy efficiency.

The Honda e:N1 comes with Honda SENSING safety technology, which uses a front wide-view camera to help detect cars and pedestrians effectively. Its main functions are:

• Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) designed to alert the driver when the potential for a collision is determined such as a vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle, or pedestrian in front. Notifications are displayed on the information display screen along with a sound. Additionally, there is a steering wheel vibration warning for vehicles approaching from the opposite direction. If the driver does not respond or a collision risk is detected, the system will automatically increase braking to reduce speed, avoid collisions, and decrease collision severity.
• Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) works by the front camera reading lane markings. It adjusts the steering torque to assist the driver in maintaining proper lane position as well as reducing driver fatigue.
• Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW) uses the front camera to detect painted lane lines. If the car begins to move out of the detected lane unintentionally, LDW will show an alert on the display with a vibration alert in the steering wheel. If the car begins to leave the lane further, the system will activate steering torque to assist the driver in maintaining lane position to reduce the risk of moving out of the lane.
• Auto High-Beam (AHB) automatically adjusts high or low beam through camera detection. The system will switch to high beam when driving in the dark and will adjust to low beam when detecting a vehicle approaching.
• Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow (ACC with LSF) maintains the cruise control at the driver’s desired speed. With the front camera detection, the system will automatically adjust the speed to keep a proper distance from the vehicle in front. When driving at a low speed, the system will adjust the speed according to the vehicle ahead, including automatic braking and stopping. The system will re-activate once the driver presses the button on the steering wheel or presses the accelerator pedal.
• Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN) detects the departure of the car in front by alerting the driver on the multi-information display along with making a sound.

Elevate your lifestyle with Honda CONNECT, a connected car technology that enables communication between the driver and the vehicle through a smartphone application. It comes with nine key features that enable comfort and safety throughout every journey, including:

1. My Service monitors the car history for checkup service which includes estimating a list of replacement parts and initial expenses and calculating when the next service operation is due.
2. Car Log provides data covering driving information and driving behavior that can be displayed daily, monthly, or yearly. There are also travel logs that can be saved as favorite trips and shared on social media such as LINE, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
3. Wi-Fi supports wireless connections from the vehicle with a maximum of five different devices connected to Wi-Fi with coverage up to 40 meters from the vehicle without any barriers.

4. Airbag Deployment when an airbag deploys due to an accident. The Telematics Control Unit (TCU) installed in a Honda vehicle sends a signal to the Honda Call Center, which will call the registered phone number, or a number reserved for emergency use, to contact the driver and offer assistance.
5. Car Status provides details when an abnormality in the vehicle’s systems is detected. It also sends a theft alarm notification when an abnormality from the exterior of the vehicle is detected, such as unusual opening of the doors and trunk.
6. Remote Vehicle Control enables locking, unlocking, and starting the car as well as setting the temperature for the air-conditioning system and turning off the car. It also enables turning on both the headlights and taillights. The user log-in for the system requires a personal 4-digit PIN before use.
7. Geo Fence & Speed Alert sets a boundary for your car with a geo-fencing feature. It sends an instant alert to you when the vehicle breaches or enters the user-defined geo-fence marked area, along with a Speed Alert feature that sends an alert to you in case the vehicle exceeds the user-defined speed.
8. Find My Car enables you to locate your car using vehicle tracking on a current map application. The result will be displayed on a smartphone application with a user log-in for the system that requires a personal 4-digit PIN before use.
9. Charging Status can track or adjust the Honda e:N1’s battery charging settings. You can adjust the settings to suit different charging conditions, whether charging at home or away from the car. There are three selectable levels ranging from “LOW,” which limits power to six amps, to “HIGH,” which supports the maximum current from the charger equal to the maximum power the battery can handle.
