4. Airbag Deployment when an airbag deploys due to an accident. The Telematics Control Unit (TCU) system installed in a Honda vehicle sends a signal to the Honda Call Center via a smartphone application, which will call the registered phone number, or a number reserved for emergency use, to contact the driver and offer assistance.
5. Car Status provides details when an abnormality in the vehicle’s systems is detected. It also sends a theft alarm notification when an abnormality from the exterior of the vehicle is detected, such as unusual opening of the doors and trunk.
6. Remote Vehicle Control enables locking, unlocking, and starting the vehicle as well as setting the temperature for the air-conditioning system and turning off the engine. It also enables turning on both the headlights and taillights. The user log-in for the system requires a personal 4-digit PIN before use.
7. Geo-fence & Speed Alert sets a boundary for your car with a Geo-fencing feature. It sends an instant alert to you when the vehicle breaches or enters the user-defined Geo-fence marked area, along with a Speed Alert feature that sends an alert to you in case the vehicle exceeds the speed limit for the road on which it is travelling.
8. Find My Car enables you to locate your car using vehicle tracking on a current map application. The result will be displayed on a smartphone application that will send you an automatically generated 4-digit PIN when you register before using it.
