สิงคโปร์ ปอร์เช่ได้รับการตอบรับอย่างดี จากการภูมิใจเสนอ นิทรรศการศิลปะสุดพิเศษ อันเป็นดาวเด่นของงาน Singapore Art Week 2023 ประกอบด้วยการจัดแสดงผลงานศิลปะจากยนตรกรรมสปอร์ต 911 ถึง 2 ผลงาน โดยนิทรรศการนี้เปรียบเสมือนกิจกรรมที่เป็นจุดเริ่มต้นก่อนการมาถึงของประสบการณ์อันน่าตื่นตาตื่นใจ และหลากหลายที่จัดเตรียมไว้เพื่อลูกค้าและแฟนของปอร์เช่ในประเทศสิงคโปร์ตลอดทั้งปี 2023 ที่จะเกิดขึ้น และกิจกรรมนี้ยังเสริมความสมบูรณ์แบบให้ Porsche NOW Pop-up แห่งใหม่ใน Guoco Tower อีกด้วย

ผลงานศิลปะจากโครงการ The Art of Dreams ปรากฎอีกครั้งที่สิงคโปร์

สำหรับผลงานชิ้นที่ 2 ของ “The Art of Dreams” ในสิงคโปร์ ปอร์เช่จัดแสดงชิ้นงานที่มีชื่อว่า “Dream Big” ฝีมือของศิลปินชาวสกอตแลนด์ Chris Labrooy โดยผลงานดังกล่าวเป็นโครงสร้างที่มีความสูงกว่า 3.5 เมตร ประกอบด้วยรถสปอร์ตปอร์เช่ 911 สื่อถึงความเป็นเด็กที่มีอยู่ในตัวของทุกคน และนำพาผู้ชมย้อนระลึกถึงช่วงเวลาที่จินตนาการยังคงถูกปลดปล่อยเป็นอิสระได้อย่างไร้ขีดจำกัด

Singapore. Porsche proudly showcases two highlights at the Singapore Art Week 2023 with a pair of 911-focused art exhibitions. These activations preview the range of multifaceted brand experiences Porsche customers and fans can look forward to in Singapore throughout 2023, perfectly complementing the new Porsche NOW Pop-up at Guoco Tower.
The Art of Dreams Singapore Returns for a Second Edition
In the first experiential brand offensive, Porsche brings into focus its brand purpose as being the marque for those who follow their dreams.
The iconic German sports car brand spotlights Singapore as Asia’s City of Dreams once again, following the first edition of the brand’s global initiative “The Art of Dreams” at Singapore Art Week 2022, where Porsche brought Cyril Lancelin’s immersive installation “Remember your Dreams”.
For this second edition of “The Art of Dreams” in Singapore, Porsche brings the installation “Dream Big.” by Scottish artist Chris Labrooy. The structure stands 3.5-metres tall and features a real-life 911 sports car, speaking to the child in all of us and transporting us back to a time when our imagination knew no boundaries.
The piece asks the beholder: Where did we hope our journey would take us? Are we following our dreams? And as if rising up from another dimension, the larger-than-life figure inspires us to ask: Where will our dreams take us next?
As a nod to the Singaporean context for this edition of “The Art of Dreams”, visitors to the artwork here will notice the large figure rising up from the same rubber flooring used in playgrounds typically seen around local housing estates – giving the artwork a true Singaporean flavour whilst resembling a child playing with a toy car.
A New Temporary Experiential Brand Space at Mandala Club
In parallel to the exhibition at Gardens by the Bay, art enthusiasts can also immerse themselves in a curated collection of Chris Labrooy’s artworks at Porsche’s new temporary experiential brand space at Mandala Club.
This same space at Mandala Club is also where Porsche is showcasing its second highlight for Singapore Art Week 2023. Adjacent to the artworks from Chris Labrooy, Porsche and Mandala Club have transformed the ground floor of the private members club into a puristic gallery space. At the centre of the gallery sits the “Crystal Eroded Porsche 992”, another unmistakably sculpted Porsche 911 sports car as imagined by iconic American artist Daniel Arsham.
The 911 focus in both exhibitions also comes at an appropriate time, as Porsche celebrates 60 years of its icon in 2023. In the world of cars, only a handful can claim to be as transcendental as the 911, evolving over decades to become not just a sports car and racing legend, but also recognised as part of a larger zeitgeist through multiple starring roles in film, art and culture.
Daniel Arsham’s “Crystal Eroded Porsche 992” is expressed in a distinct off-white tone throughout the exterior, accented by eroded areas featuring quartz and pyrite crystals. The interior of the car has also been reworked with a bespoke earth-tone stone-washed canvas to complement the aesthetic, and the upholstery is dotted with Daniel Arsham marked drawings. The car is completed with an “ARSHAM 3019” license plate on the rear.
The “Crystal Eroded Porsche 992“ by Daniel Arsham will be on display at Mandala Club from 10:00am to 10:00pm every day except Monday, from 6 to 15 January 2023.
Alongside both exhibitions, Porsche Singapore and Mandala Club will also be unveiling an exclusive collection of artist merchandise by Chris Labrooy and Daniel Arsham at the ground floor of Mandala Club. Proceeds from the sale of this merchandise will go to *SCAPE in support of local youth programmes in areas of creative arts, media and entertainment as well as entrepreneurship and careers.

Chris Labrooy is an artist and designer who lives and works in Scotland. His work focuses on the digital space with highly realistic renders of unexpected environments and dream-like situations, often using cars as his subject and muse. He is a long-time friend and collaborator of the brand and an avid Porsche driver himself.
About Daniel Arsham
Daniel Arsham was born on 8 September 1980, in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Miami, Florida. As an iconic artist of our time, Arsham breathes new life into the everyday, experimenting structurally to connect past, present and future in unexpected forms. His work is distinguished by subtle changes, in particular when he amalgamates objects in order to transform familiar structures. Arsham’s third project involving a car from the Zuffenhausen-based sports car manufacturer is the 356 Bonsai, laying bare the raw materials that make up the car and embracing the history of a 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster through the Japanese aesthetic concept, Wabi Sabi.
