Honda Supports 100% Electric Vehicles for Charity Including “Honda e:N1” and “Honda BENLY e:” for Thai Red Cross Society’s Public Benefit Activities

Bangkok  7 March 2024) Honda, led by Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Thai Honda Co., Ltd., collaborated to provide 100% electric vehicles, both cars and motorcycles, consisting of one Honda e:N1 electric SUV along with an electric car charger and three Honda BENLY e: electric motorcycles to support the Thai Red Cross Society’s National Blood Center. These vehicles will be used for various medical activities such as transporting blood between Thai Red Cross offices and hospitals during emergencies, collecting blood from donation units for immediate or emergency medical treatment, and transporting medical personnel, equipment, and blood donations between subunits and hospitals.

The Honda BENLY e: is an electric motorcycle designed for urban use with battery swapping technology that eliminates the need to wait for a charge. Honda’s lithium-ion battery or Honda Mobile Power Packs are certified for UNR136, an international standard and the highest standard for verifying the quality of electric motorcycle batteries. The Honda BENLY e: has a top speed of 60 km/h and a range of 78 kilometers per charge. The model has a simple, modern, and minimal design that is excellent for urban use, as well as an ergonomic design that promotes proper riding form.
