MG unwraps MG CYBERSTER and IM LS6 for the first time in ASEAN showcasing all models at Motor Expo 2023

Bangkok – 29 November 2023 – SAIC Motor-CP and MG Sales (Thailand), manufacturer and distributor of MG cars in Thailand, welcome the colorful festive season with the showcase of two premium EV models for the first time in Thailand and in ASEAN. MG CYBERSTER, a 2-seat electric convertible roadster; and IM LS6, coupe SUV with cutting-edge technology, alongside a wide range of models will be on display at the MG Booth (A14), the 40^th Thailand International Motor Expo 2023 which takes place at Challenger 1, Impact Muang Thong Thani from 30 November to 11 December 2023.

MG builds a significant year-end movement at the 40^th Thailand International Motor Expo 2023, highlighting innovative automobiles that reflect the future of technology and design. For the first time in Thailand and in ASEAN, the company presents MG CYBERSTER, a 100% electric sport roadster where design and performance are perfectly combined. The result is a 2-seat electric convertible roadster outstanding for its automatic Scissor Doors, wine-red interior that highlights sporty look, premium materials and intelligent connectivity systems that ensure the comfort of driving a convertible sport car. The model showcased at the event is a left-hand drive that comes with the dual motor that promises a maximum of 544hp and a maximum torque of 725 Nm which can accelerate from 0-100 km/h within 3.2 seconds. The model also comes with the battery capacity of 77 kWh, independent double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension. Reservation for MG CYBERSTER under the MG CYBERSTER Prestige Reservation campaign opens again from 29 November to 31 December where booking can only be made online via bit.ly/CYBERSTERPrestige where a 10,000-baht booking fee can be used as a discount of 50,000 baht. (Prestige Reservation is not valid at all MG service centres.)

Another highlight model at the MG Booth is IM LS6, an electric coupe SUV. A brand developed under an investment partnership between SAIC Motor, Alibaba, and Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech, IM LS6 is outstanding for its exterior design under the sleek “Gentle Sculpture” concept as well as its highly advanced interior design featuring the new Ai Cabin technology from SAIC Motor which reflects the company’s commitment to develop new automotive innovation. With the body dimension of 4.9 meters and the wheelbase of 2.950 meters, IM LS6 comes with the dual motor that gives a maximum power of 579 kW and a maximum torque of 800 Nm. The model can accelerate from 0-100 km/h within 3.48 seconds.
